I think my headset finally died? I have no idea what troubleshooting tips to take or if it's time for a replacement. My headset doesn't connect to her bases, so it's almost certainly the headset itself. To test, I used my gf's rig 800s and hers connects to my bases no problem, so I can confirm the bases aren't broken. I can't find any software updates or drivers I can try. The headset also no longer connects to my lx base either. I've connected my hx base to my pc to try it there and no dice. So I've unpaired and re-paired these probably a lot more than average so maybe I just ran these things into the ground? I actually use this for both ps4 and Xbox one (all you need is the lx base which Plantronics sells (sold?) on their website. It's almost like it goes to pair and then reboots itself. The base light turns red again and the 800s repeat its "power on, battery high, headset connected" phrase. I can hear game/party audio for about 2 seconds and then it cuts out. The base light turns pink like it normally does when it connects. I hit the pairing button on the base and put the headset in pairing mode (headset lady says "pairing"). If this helps, please mark this as “ Accepted Solution ” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.I've had my Rig 800HX for 2 years now and I've not run into a problem like this.īasically, my headset turns on and says "power on, battery high, headset no connected".
